Taimane: Entertainer of the Year in Concert at Hawai’i Theatre Center

Engaging the Senses Foundation offers our profound congratulations to ukulele master extraordinaire Taimane for winning her third Entertainer of the Year award from the Hawai’i Academy of Performing Arts! We have been fortunate to encounter the power of Taimane’s artistry ourselves as her beautiful playing and singing added unique depth to the ETSF-directed and produced film The Story of Everything, written by Emeritus Hawai’i Poet Laureate Kealoha.

Meanwhile, please keep in mind that Taimane’s new concert entitled HAWAIKI: A MUSICAL & THEATRICAL ODYSSEY, will be presented by Hawai’i Theatre Center on August 25, 2023!

An elaborate experience with sets, costumes, dancers, spectacular lighting, this is the concert that Taimane has been envisioning and developing for years. In HAWAIKI: A MUSICAL & THEATRICAL ODYSSEY, modern, Polynesian and aerial dance, along with poetry and music will come to life in spectacular fashion.
